St Francis' Way

There is a Camino pilgrimage route known as the Via Francegena, from Canterbury in England, over the Alps, through Florence to Rome.

A route close to this is now called the "St Francis Way" and it goes from near Florence to Rome, but via Assisi and other towns associated with the life of St Francis.
