I didn't visit when I was in Rome before, but I thought I should do it now.
I find this a very ugly and depressing place. The pickpockets can have it to themselves.

ReplyDeleteNo, I haven't heard anything, and anyway, I've arranged a trip to Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento. At the moment I'm having a beer (is this a pattern?) outside the Pantheon, which was closed the other time I was in Rome. I visited the Vatican museum and St Peter's this morning.
