Paul, Having walked the walk, now you've decided to talk the talk. I note the Toastmasters sign is in English. Was the meeting in English or Flemish? Did you get a table topic? If so, what was the topic and how did you go? Regards Chris
The meeting was in both, with a bit more English than Dutch. This worked well because everyone could understand both but not speak both well. I was timer and had a table topic about convincing a man to do something by convincing the man next to him. My answer used the example of men drinking in a bar and men in a rugby scrum.
