  1. Hi Paul, Have been following your blog in a somewhat disjointed way because blogs and blogging is entirely new to me, but hopefully I'm getting the hang of it and this will arrive in the right slot to be read. It may be substantially a repeat of a messake I'd just typed and seemed to disappear or send itself when I went to check your whereabouts on the map. We both hope your heels and toes and feet overall are feeling better and now performing rheir appointed tasks without too many pains or complaints. What's the typical daily distance ? And have you become part of some loose amalgamation of fellow pilgrims or does everyone more or less do their owm thing at their own pace ?? Hope that doesn't sound too dumb i.e. already the subject of an earlier (?)blog that I've missed. What are your latest thoughts about your timing now that you're 2 weeks I think along the way. All for now. Our thoughts are with you. Travel well ... John and Josephine.

  2. Hi John, thanks for your comment. People tend to make loose associations. The people I see now are different from the beginning because everyone has their own pace and some people, especially the Europeans, only spend 1 or 2 weeks a year on the Camino.
The only chance to talk much is when you stop at the end of the day and have dinner.
The are special menus everywhere for about $12 to $15, but eating at normal restaurants seems to give you better food for the same price.
