Today is Lluviendo (ie rainy). My feet feel good, I don't know if that is because of the cold and rain.
Not many photos today because my camera is buried in my backpack under 3 layers of plastic to keep it dry.
Last night we stayed at a very small village with not many people, but hundreds of brand new, empty apartments and a golf course for the amusement of people from Burgos and Bilbao.

Is there a need for all the new apartments?? Seems to be a lot of building going on for a country that is supposed to be in deep financial trouble??? Glad the feet are feeling better! In Sydney today there have been periods of heavy rain and cold severe winds! In Katoomba this morning it was minus 3 and snowing heavily -in Spring!!!!!Brrrrrr! Am about to put the gas fire on!! ReplyDeleteI think there is a story behind the empty apartments and it is probably not good. Probably someone made money out of them.
ReplyDeleteYes Paul, you can only buy a house when you are member of the Rioja Alta Golf club. Why living in Ciruena in the middle of nowhere where only camino pelgrims are passing and they have no time for a game. So playing alone is even for uncle Duck boring, he is living in Andalucia not in Rioja. But it gives a strange feeling suddenly walking like Charly C. in a Hollywood set. That is the camino too.
