A Spanish man riding the Camino on a bicycle just told me the hardest part is Robcevalles to here, the rest is easy. Can he be trusted?

  1. NO, it was just warming up Paul. So keep aware of the signals of your body, physical and spiritual. Think at the end of a long walking day for one glass of beer and the pelgrims mass. The rest is just enjoying. We are enjoying your pictures and encounters. Bart

  2. Like the tourist pic above! It still looks jolly hilly. Just think of the pilgrims of olde with their flimsy sandals on those loose pebbles! The weather looks great though - i fthe temp guide is correct it's great walking weather. Would be very hard to do in either the boiling sun of summer or the bitter winds of winter. Hope Dennis has recovered. It's not a good place to get sick! Elaine

  3. Noticed the different times your posts were sent. Did you get that SIM data card in Pamplona - so you can post pictures throughout the day from wherever you are? NOw rechnology amazing!!!Approximately how many hours are you walking each day??
Does the guide book allow any days just to rest and relax - or so you can catch up the 7km?? Hope so! Elaine
